Good Questions, Honest Answers

Everything Philadelphia neighbors usually want to know before their first visit — and if we missed one, just call.

What parts of Philadelphia and the suburbs do you cover?

We're based in Center City (19107) and cover about a 20-mile reach. That includes the whole city, from South Philly, Fishtown, Kensington and Port Richmond to West Philly, Manayunk, Roxborough, Germantown, Mount Airy, Chestnut Hill and the Northeast, plus nearby suburbs like Lower Merion and the Main Line, Upper Darby and Drexel Hill, Cheltenham, Abington, Bensalem, and Cherry Hill and Collingswood across the river in New Jersey. If you're unsure, call and ask.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes. Most small jobs can be priced from a few clear photos and a short phone call. Larger projects get a free in-person look. Either way, you'll have a firm number before anything is scheduled.

Do you charge by the hour or by the job?

Whenever we can, we price the job rather than the clock, so you know the cost up front. For open-ended punch-list visits we agree on a rate and a rough scope beforehand so nothing comes as a surprise. If something goes faster than expected, you benefit.

Are you insured?

Yes, we carry general liability insurance and are glad to share proof, including a certificate for your condo board or building management if they ask for one. We're local, so we stand behind the work and we're a phone call away if a question comes up later.

Are your pros licensed and insured?

Yes. Every job is done by insured local pros who hold the licenses and registrations Pennsylvania and the City of Philadelphia require for that kind of work, so electrical and plumbing connections are made by licensed tradespeople. We carry general liability insurance and can send a certificate to your building manager or landlord. Ask us anything before we start.

What jobs do you take on?

We cover the broad middle of home repair and upkeep, start to finish: drywall and plaster patching, doors and locks, TV and shelf mounting, ceiling fans with new fan-rated boxes, light fixtures, dimmers and smart switches, hardwired doorbells and thermostats, faucet, toilet, disposal and supply-line repair and replacement, fences and gates, gutters, painting touch-ups, storage, pressure washing and seasonal maintenance. Send the whole list and we'll schedule it as one visit wherever we can.

Can you work in my condo or apartment building?

Yes. Many Center City and University City buildings require a certificate of insurance, an elevator reservation and set work hours, and we're used to all of that. Tell us your building's rules when you book and we'll handle the paperwork and timing so the visit goes smoothly with management.

How soon can you come out?

Call or text with your list and a few photos, and we'll offer the earliest slot that fits. We can usually get out within a few days, and we try to move faster for urgent problems like a running toilet, a door that won't lock or a leak that's staining a ceiling.
